I hated how Barney became an alcoholic again

They did a whole episode about him quitting. Was it really that hard to animate him drinking coffee instead of beer? It would be like killing off Apu's eight babies and wife because he didn't always have a family.

That was on channel four today, Moe spiked his coffee though so he went back to it.

You still see him fly a helicopter occasionally though.

I thought Moe just got him hooked on coffee. You see him drinking coffee for a few episodes after this (then in one episode he's drunk again and says "relapse!")

I liked the random mention of Leo Sayer by the helicopter pilot.
