Hot buttered rum fixes head colds.
My doctor prescribed it for me once.
I don't drink alcoholic beverages so didn't try it
but I've heard on good authority that it does indeed do wonders.

NyQuil still does the trick for me, almost as strong as brandy with other good stuff thrown in.

I have developed a slight runny nose over the past few days...I hope it's not getting worse than that.
