I have been banned forever

the warnings are no doubt listed in the HD thread titled extreme trolling where Elwood announced by ban. You can read up there and that is why I am banned.

I banned Face. I gave him his fifth warning here and he's now banned, most likely permenently, and I have a clear conscience about it.

It's one thing to spew venom amongst ourselves in the cyber world. It's another thing entirely to take it outside of these virtual walls and into the homes of those filled with grief.

I'm not about that. I had hoped we were not about that. Two members have brought grief to a real family and to our board. I can't see a good reason for allowing them to remain as members in good standing in our community.

I'm not going to lawyer this decision to death because in the grand scheme of things, it's ultimately meaningless. I will not comment about the bannings again until one or both of the banned members approach me via e-mail to talk it over.

I will also go on record as saying that if we ever find out who impersonated me and Tamar on the funeral home's guestbook, that they too will be banned.

In closing, say what you want about me being a tryannt. Say what you want about how WF is turning into TrekBBS. But, can you not see that these actions could cost all of us our community? Are we going to let a few troublemakers end it for all of us in a pointless fit of idiotcy?

Ladies and gentlemen, if you'll spare me a cliche, this is where the metal meets the meat. This is not the WF I believe we want. If it is the WF you want, perhaps you should look elsewhere because we don't condone this.

Question: I can't find where it was confirmed that Face actually hit the funeral home website. Did Elwood actually prove this, or is he just being a dick on principle?

I think Face just had a shitload of warnings before this, and the warning for that pushed him over.
 
Yeah, no one knows or is accusing anyone [to my knowledge] of the funeral home troll. I think Face just pushed his luck with the other stuff [re: NIbbles' death] and Elwood banned him.
 
The ban isn't legal according to the rules. Face only had a warning level of 6, and a level of 15 is needed for a ban. Friendy 15 day warnings are 1 warning level, Full 6-month warnings are 3 warning levels. Friendly warnings don't count towards bans, and some of your 15-day warnings weren't removed.

It was said at WF that Elwood banned you of his own volition. If that's true, there isn't much anyone can do to get you unbanned.
 
Actually I didn't find a post by Elwood that says the funeral home thing was a reason. Some other people over there threw that in. Elwood seems to say its all WF based. Although some suggest Face didn't have enough warning "points" to merit a ban.
 
no I had 4 warnings before this one...unless one expired I didn't know about. So yeah, this would be my 5th warning. Whether you agree with it or not, is up to you.

I for one have no opinion.

Although I could make a strong, good faith argument for why it, and a number of my warning have been erroneous, I don't want to this time. If something someone did is truly hurting WF as they say it has, well I"m sorry. It wasn't me. But if it makes you feel better, I'll take the hit and I won't complain.

But on top of that, I stick to my claim that I have no idea what the funeral home website thing is about. I never once bothered to look into the whole "nibbles" incident as it was. I was just backing polarslam and what I felt was an unfair warning/ban on his part. Oh well...guess I got what I deserved.

You decided, in whatever capacity you see yourself, to question the online identity of Nibbles' sister in a way that was, shall we say, less than sensitive (or smart). Nibbles' sister saw what you posted and referred to you directly when expressing her, shall we say, less than thrilling reaction the great and wonderfuckingful Word Forge. In other words, you went off cluelessly in an effort to "back polarslam" - such an honorable and courageous stance, we're really all very impressed down here - and in the process caused real life harm and hurt to someone.

Does this matter to you? Do you give a shit beyond anything besides this dickfuck online nerd crap? Do you in fact even get any of this?
 
Anyone who would use the death of a person IRL to make a funny or troll with it is an insensitive asshole and doesn't merit inclusion in the human race.

When the death or illness is someone who is closely associated to WF that opens up the chance of something just like this...grieving people seeing the BS and suffering more...this is exactly why we ask people not to use stuff like this to troll.

Mandy really was her sister and your antics with her is considered extreme trolling, hence the fifth warning.

No, so far we do not know who impersonated Elwood and I at the funeral home's online guest book. Whoever did it is the lowest of the low to use such a thing for trolling's sake. They are one sick fuck, IMO.

I think the boys and girls at WF, Elwood included, need to collectively take an extra-strength chillpill and quit acting like someone buttfucked their mother on the 50-yard line during half-time. I mean, good God...

However, with "Mandy" and the mysterious funeral home sign in page, it smells like a troll is afoot.
