How do you know the parties were simultaneous? I just assumed the montage was showing how various planets reacted to the death of the Emporer, not that it was all going on at the same time.

The knew music was better suited for the end of an epic six movie series than the "yub yub" song.
 
But they could have edited it so that the drab pan flute music played under the new montage, and then when they got to Ewokville they still could have kept at least part of the song. Then fade to some sweeping orchestral piece when Luke sees the Dead Jedi of the Week. End of movie. Bam.

At least the Gungans have Brian Blessed voicing their leader, CAN THE EWOKS CLAIM ANYTHING SO COOL?
 
They can claim nothing that is remotly cool.
 
I loved it when R2 shot that ewok up the ass (what they didn't show in the movie was that the ewok later died of its injuries and its wife commited suicide in grief, leaving their children to fall into the hands of an ewok paedophile.)
 
I still say Gremlins would win.

They're the one race that can actually beat the stormtroopers. It makes every other race, including those behind the controls of space ships, pitiful excuses of air users.

How the fuck can you let midget teddy bears do something you should have been able to do? And they did it with bows, arrows, rocks and shitting fucking huge logs.
