Shame they had to cut a huge chunk out of the middle of it which creates a CONTINUITY ERROR.

When he talks about knowing Anakin? Or when he says "I knew your mother JANE NOSE and she had a nice nose!"?

There's a bit in the middle they cut out where Red Leader talked about Luke's father that didn't match up with the prequels, so they had an ILM guy walk across the screen as a wipe BUT you can tell if you look at R2 he moves halfway across the screen suddenly.

This gets fixed in A New Hope: Revisited which is basically what the Special Editions would've been like if they weren't really, really shitty.
