I live in a van now

Is it a nice van?

Saw that whisky replied, shocked that it wasn't an A-Team reference.

Are you happy in your van, mm? I hope so.

Noone is more shocked than I am.

Well, it's a camper van and has all of the comforts of a house. More or less. I'm not sure the A-Team would like it because I've replaced the large firearms safe with a hot tub.

;)

I thought the a team van was a volpone thing?

The idea seems more and more appealing to me... especially whenever I'm able to retire (never)...

Glad you checked in :cookie:

I have a couple...acquaintences? Friends? I don't know them that well, but they're 1 of 2 previous friends to visit me since moving to Kentucky--and the only ones from Portland. Anyway, 1 or both of them were hoarders, so they got a big van that they've lived in since 2015 or so and just drive around the country, working remotely and having adventures.

[because I was unclear and you can't edit old posts: They were hoarders, so they got rid of everything and got a van to combat their hoarding tendencies.]

OMG I HAD THAT WHEN I WAS A KIDDEH!!!1111

Big Jim used to party with my Mego Batman, Robin and Superman action figures... I might have had Aquaman too, it's all a blur...

Is it creepy that Ken is just walking around without a shirt or shoes the whole time?

I think Big Jim was kind of a spin from the Vietnam backlash where GI Joe was too militaristic. Of course then Reagan got elected and it went the other way. I had a Big Jim that was some kind of special forces secret agent. He had a navy blue turtleneck with a wolf logo on the chest. And possibly a metal hand. And a shoulder holster.

That was the assumption I made between the two datapoints.

I liked the part in the big Jim commercial that said, "Help him unload"
And then I got pissed when it said "Big Jim sold separately"

And why does he rescue someone in his commercial and Malibu Barbie just sleeps?
