I never realised Miguel Ferrer and George Clooney were related.

I think for most ordinary folk who aren't total movie geeks on the sly, Miguel Ferrer is one of those guys whose faces (and voice) you'll immediately recognise but not provide a name for. I would imagine most sci-fi genre buffs would immediately recognise him from Robocop though.

Because I am an olde ghey, and not as much into sci-fi, I remember Miguel Ferrer as the hardass chief of the secret operation in Point of No Return, and the hardass client of Grace who wants to date Will in a season 1 ep of Will & Grace.

I remember him from Robocop, but nothing else until Crossing Jordan. Truth be told, I only watched Crossing Jordan for like 3 episodes when I thought for like 10 minutes that Jill Hennessy was hot.

I also remember George Clooney as the plastics plant manager in early seasons of Roseanne, and as super-secret-spy Falconer in the chick show Sisters.

Oh, and that doctor show he did for a while, too.
