I've been seeing a lot more karma-worthy posts since karma disappeared.
 
Are all the comments saved somewhere? Or are they just gone?
 
If I were Hambil I believe I would add a field to the post table temporarily and check it for all karma comments. Then, when I wanted to put everything back to normal I could have fixed it all with a small sql query and the push of a button.
