I was thinking, and I figured out the scar thing

Is this real life?
The Hiro that met Peter on the subway changed the chain of events from that point on when he told Peter "save the cheerleader, save the world"(that's why he was there!). In the timeline that future Hiro came from Peter never went to Texas, never saved Claire and therefore never picked up the healing ability. Presumably he then had a run-in with Sylar similar to the one in the last episode and wasn't able to fix his scar. So we're never going to see him with a scar unless they do an episode showing what happened before history was changed

One of my friends who has teh broadband is downloading all the episodes of Heroes for me and he's gonna send it to me in the mail and by the time the show comes back from hiatus I'll know what the hell you are talking about.

I had a similar thought. There is no doubt that history has been changed from the one that future Hiro lived in. Not only that but wouldn't a scar be impossible now that he can heal? - so yeah, it all fits that he would have a scar (though nice work linking it with the Sylar confrontation) if he hadn't saved Claire and that is also why it was important to go back in time to make sure he DID save Claire.

That said though wouldn't we need to see Peter get out of his Sylar confrontation without using excessive healing abilites in the Sylar show-down? I think that from the point we left the episode he is going to have to do something else very quickly to avoid a situation where he would have been killed (like having the top of his head taken off) as opposed to having a nasty scar sans the regen ability.

Well in the hypothetical alternate dimension that future Hiro came from Peter might still have picked up other abilities. He'd still be able to use Sylar's, as well, and I think psychokinesis would be enough to end that fight. The gun was on the floor in our timeline and even if it wasn't used to kill Sylar, it could have distracted him for long enough for Peter to take him out.

I'm glad Peter isn't going to have a dorky looking scar now. :)

Also; since they sent Hiro back to Feudal Japan, will not there be all sorts of historical shenanigans ensuing?

I think Hiro will get a quick history lesson and then return to the present. The next season seems like it'll take place in September 07, not in Nov 06 where it left off.

I'm hoping they'll show some Heroes in other countries(London!).
