I will admit this much:

Even though I'm a Terry Ferrell defender in the Jadzia vs. Ezri war, I will say this: She ruined For The Unform.

At the end of this messy playground version of Les Miz, Eddington is led away, and Sisko talks about playing the villain with his threats to obliterate Maquis worlds. The last line of the episode is Farrell's, which is "Sometimes it feels good to be the bad guy."

The line is awful enough on paper, but Farrell chooses to deliver it in her usual perky, girly-seductive, "coffee-commercial" way, dashing any hopes that any irony could be squeezed out of the line, or the episode.

Maybe the director is equally to fault. Somebody had to sign off on that line reading.

Oh well WE WILL ALL DIE ONE DAY EH lol.

It's amazing how often in Trek an obviously bad line reading ruins a scene.

Less amazing? How often Terry Farrell ruins a scene. She ain't good.

She was better with Worf -- he's the perfect foil for her personality, while other characters seemed to merely tolerate her coquettish impishness. OH THAT JADZIA AND HER PESKY SLUG. (All laugh, EXT: Space Staiton, "Executive Producer Rick Berman")

I LOVED HER. But I was watching season 5 all day and that one scene bugged me. ONLY TOOK ME 16 YEARS!

Dr.Bashir liked her, but he was kinda a nitwit.

"coffee commercial" is probably the most damning and accurate description of some of her lines though.
