If BBC3's axed, will BBC4 become BBC3?

I mean it would make no sense to go BBC1...BBC2...BBC4!? So 4 becomes 3 and Victoria Coren Mitchell ends up hosting Snog, Marry Avoid.

David Dimbles suggested they just merge 2 and 4 since they do similar stuff anyway.

So, the leading presenter trying to save BBC3 seems to be Russell Kane.

So - here is a blurb for his fab show "Britain Unzipped"

Over the course of six weeks, they asked a total of five-hundred questions to people, and put together the 'Britain Unzipped Report', made up of statistics taken from the overall answer to each question. Such questions include 'Have you ever woken up and had no idea where you were?' and 'would you watch a friends sex tape if it was leaked on the internet?'. They then ask these questions to a celebrity guest, and to special members of the audience, the 'Britain Unzipped Sample', which have been specifically chosen to be the most likely to give entertaining answers.

Brilliant, we are really going to miss things such as this aren't we?

Yeah, I mean, I understand the BBC have to try to provide programming for everyone, but it's hard not to be snooty about BBC3 sometimes. The only thing I'd watch on it is American Dad and I could easily watch that online.

Just to see if I'd been unfair on the channel, last night I tuned into "Festivals, Sex and Suspicious Parents", but switched it off in disgust (and onto boring football, which is a watermark of my disgust) when a lout drank a bottle of his mates collected piss.
