Umm, now they would really not want to meet you. Many EI members are liberals, and probably even anti-gun. Except for Shal. She's got a gun...but I don't think either of you would like to meet each other.

Here's a few:

Always assume the gun is loaded, not the other way around.

Before cleaning, make sure it is unloaded.

Keep it away from children.

Always keep it pointed in a safe direction when fondling it.

Don't rely on the safety.

What I wanted to post in "Happiness Is A Warm Gun" forum (but it was brutally done away with) was what was better. Slow and big (like a .45 ACP)? Or fast and small (like a 9mm)? And is it worth getting a .40 S&W.... Oh well.
