The New Mutants was one of my fave books for a while - I put it down to the fact that I was a teenager at the time, like the characters in the book. No interest in reading a new version, though Magik was one of my faves.
 
It doesn't really make sense now because the characters are supposed to be a bit older now and of course there's lot of new younger X-Men been introduced. But I suppose it's meant for fans of the original team. And nice cover.
