WTF!! red , red all the fucking way, if it was fucking bacon it would still be red...

you know once i went in Mcd and asked for a a bacon roll with red sauce, drove to work with that fucker sat down, and it was fucking brown, I drove back with the brown crime.

At night I can hear their screams.
 
I've never liked red sauce, unless it's mixed with mustard, and seeing as I don't like mustard on sausages, it's brown sauce all the way. These are all important details.
 
As to the sauce, it depends on the type of sausage -
if venison sausage, then stone ground mustard
if pork sausage, then mayonnaise
if Italian sausage, then my own homemade tomato sauce
if Polish sausage, then ketchup
if Cajun, then red beans and rice
 
When an Englishman says 'sausage', it's practicaly always referring to a pork sausage.
 
Can you translate the sauce descriptions from British to American? Red? Brown? These are colors, not flavors.

I like a nice sausage and pepper hero. No sauce necessary. Maybe a little of the tomato sauce if that's what the ingredients were cooked in.

If we're talking about a sausage meal and not just a sandwich:

with rice(with peppers and onions) or mashed potatos I usually have horseradish with italian or polish sausage.
