OK. Missmanners. I love you in so many ways. But if you can't see what Trump has accomplished, take a deep breath and take the blinders off. Prior to the 'rona we had the lowest unemployment in recorded history. More jobs than job hunters. Lower unemployment for minorities than ever. Stock market through the roof. ISIS? Wiped out. A new and historic peace accord in the Middle East. Getting out of the endless wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Germany. Prison reform. That's just off the top of my head.
Dayton, my sweet, sweet goofball. I really think you're a troll savant that doesn't even realize what he's doing. The beginning of WF's doom is...shit. It's too complex to coherently explain or pinpoint on the spot. So I'm going to peel the onion from the outside.
We got to where we are today because wonky academic commie shills like Mister Hanky and Analcalgon think communism works if you just try hard enough. And they refuse to hear any suggestions from anyone who isn't them. So they set up the Five Year Plan we're currently power-augering into the ground with. BUT...
They wouldn't be there if Lanzman hadn't given them the board. And Lanzman wouldn't have given them the board if Elwood hadn't given Lanzman the board. You see, Lanzman is probably a decent guy. I've had beers with him. But he's weak. And Mister Hanky and Analcalgon beat him down and played on his weakness to get the board. Elwood gave him the board because Elwood knew he was weak. Elwood could put him "in charge" and know he could still "pull the strings" if he wanted to.
Which brings me to Elwood. And Borgs. And Cass. And/or Pablo Diablo. Before I was a member there, WF was allegedly created by "Pablo Diablo," Cass' "brother," who fairly quickly handed the board over to Cass. Oddly enough, you never saw "Pablo" and Cass in the same room together. But I digress. For whatever reason, Cass handed the board over to Borgs. For his faults--which were basically faggoting up the board with lots of stupid ugly buggy graphics that no one wanted and a fascination with Internet piracy--really built up the board. I have a Wordforge mousepad laying around here somewhere. So for whatever reason, Elwood saw his opening and staged a slick coup to wrest control of the board from Borgs. And the rest, as they say, is history.
So I'd say at the most basic level the downfall of WF wasn't that JJ Abrams rebooted Star Trek, it was letting "visionaries" get in control of the board. At a deeper level, I'd lay it on Elwood's coup, back around 2006.
