Indy 4 PISSED ME OFF!!

Big Dick McGee

If you don't know, now ya know
Why? Because it was so fucking good, it made me wish Lucas & Co. would've gotten off their asses and made more Indy movies when Ford was a bit younger. They hint of the adventures he's had over the years, but dammit, I want to SEE it.

Stupid fucking Lucas and his shitty Star Wars prequels and Ford with his "Hollywood Homicide" and "Firewall".

I'm glad you liked it, from the title I was about to come in here and give you a beating.

I am sick of the basement dwelling nerds at trekBBS complaining about everything from the fridge to the gophers, stoping off at the ants and the skull itself along the way.

I swear some of them only go to see films to rip appart every single frame

Roll on Indy 5!

I havnt seen it, but I guessed the plot based on the skull and that line the russian woman says in the commercial. After a friend of mine who had seen it confirmed my guess, I lost all interest in seeing it.

I enjoyed the first half a lot and it really looked promising, but the second half became more than a bit ridiculous. They tried to cram too much in - badly paced: too much action without breaks doesn't make it exciting, just monotonous. Too many superfluous characters underwritten, too much breathless exposition attempting to explain the convoluted plot -and the whole aliens/interdimensional beings/flying saucer resolution was a step too far, even for an Indy movie. Was Lucas to blame for that? I don't know, but they should have stuck with the original premise of searching for Eldorado I think.

The Nuke/fridge thing didn't bother me though - I thought it was great

Not impossible, just very unlikely.

And there were plenty of similar things in the first three films.

Better by a long way.

People just need to accept hes 20 years older and does things a little differently.
