This thread makes little sense (he says in the Mine Field). How can one have infinite regress and then have a clause that has no apparent causation such as The Big Bang?
Isn't that a cop out and an argument for God or a beginningless existence?
The very idea of uncaused causation and infinite regress is nonsensical!
And since we're moving forward through linear time and cause-and-effect is growing along the causal lines it makes the concept of infinite regress an even more logically flawed supposition.
