IRON MAN 3

My two boys opinions (15 & 13)

13 year old first:
1. Lots of explosions, I lost count
2. A bit of a blockbuster, quite good fun
3. You would hate it
4. Not a patch on The Hobbit

15 year old

Can I merge this thread with the existing IRON MAN 3 thread (see Similar Threads) or would that start a huge drama?

(I haven't seen it yet.)
 
Gwyneth has jumped the shark in my mind BTW. She is dead to me now.

I know you will all be upset about this, but it had to happen somehow.
 
Perhaps it was hearing that she uses the brow sweat of Franciscan nuns as shampoo that put him off? :suspicious:
 
She did an interview on Ellen. She appeared sort of normal.

Also the dress she wore was a real turn off if I am honest.

And I SUSPECT SHE IS A :LIZARD PERSON
 
Towards the end of the film she has to wear a costume that reveals her stomach for pretty much the last 20 minutes.

It was essential to the plot.

She knows Ellen's audience wouldn't be able to handle her full undisguised glory.
 
I saw this movie today!

It was good. I liked it. I don't know if it was as good as the first Iron Man, but Iron Man 2 certainly remains as the only "bad" movie in this continuity.

Humour was good (I liked the henchman humour, Happy (he got fat lol), AND CERTAIN OTHER MOMENTS SEE SPOILERS.) The kid wasn't annoying. Gwyneth got some good stuff to do! As she should. Rebecca Hall has a nice face (was a bit underused though.) Guy Pearce was good.

The thing people online keep complaining about didn't bother me as even though I read comics I really didn't mind this change...

Ben Kingsley was hilarious. Only bad thing about the twist was that he wasn't in the movie more.
