After long delay, things are flowing into place. I actually had begun to think it wouldn't happen, that it wasn't meant to happen. Now the only thing I am sure of is it must happen, whether it turns out to be for good, or even if it turns out to be my end.

1,988 miles. Then we shall see what comes next.

I hold hope. I make no demands. What my future holds only it knows.

All I know is, I still haven't come down from the endorphins. And I like it.

It occurred to me that three years (or "winters" --the runner's kryptonite) of running/training might produce that kind of mileage.
