A single 'spell' effect. Took me a total of 7-8 hours. And I'm still not satisfied with it. 200 frames are in the effect, and you paste, shape, resize cells into it from an image set.

Shit.. that's a lot of work for 11 seconds. It looks great though, and I love the sound effects.

They say it takes an hour's work to make a second of animation.

Eggs, if you have the time one day, there are some minor things you could help me out with. Minor for you, maybe.

Say, getting rid of the background in this picture, and filling them in with a single color I can set to be transparent?

It's kind of small, is there a bigger version of it on the Net somewhere? I could do it no problem, but at that size it might not be as precise.

I just found a bunch of images I had intended to be 'battlers' (single frame images). I'll put them all up some time, so anyone passing by could cut away the backgrounds I normally have to remove pixel by pixel.
 
Photoshop -> Magentic Lasso Select

OR

Photoshop -> Brush -> Layer Mask
