It's COOOOOLD!

Well, y'all are gonna think I'm just saying this for the hell of it, but it's even a CRISPITY 47 degrees here in Tempe, AZ. Hey, for us, that's DAMN cold.

^^Are you in Oz right now??

It's been a very mild winter this year. It's going to be a record-breaking day again. But temps are supposed to plunge from around 60 today to low 30's tomorrow. Still not all that cold, all things considered.

Sometimes I think I am. Florida could be the land of Oz, but a future Oz where all the residents are retired old farts who drive really slow in the fast lane.

Without being too specific, in which part of FL do you live? Been all over FL, just wonderin' if I've been to your part of Humidity, USA.

I am about an hour northeast of Tampa. You've probably passed nearby if you traveled I-75.

Never been that far north, although I would've LOVED to be in Jacksonville in 2004...when my Eagles went to the Super Bowl there.

Been to Clearwater, Tampa/St. Pete, Miami (many times), Key Largo (many) Key West (3-4), Orlando. Florida is awesome from like October to June. After that it's too goddamn hot and humid.

The Keys are awesome, love it down there. Orlando is a nightmare.. well everywhere in Florida is a nightmare in teh winter, when all the snowbirds cram themselves into every store, and restaurant.

Key West was fun the first two times...honestly, by the third time, I was "over" it. It's just sooo expensive, and everyone just thinks they're so "quirky" and shit. And forget about parking, you have to walk everywhere, which isn't too bad unless it's 95 degrees with 95% humidity. I DID love going to the Dry Tortugas, though. Best snorkeling I've ever done. I like the drive down to Key West, too. We stopped off at Bahia Honda state park, truly great beach, and I'm not even a beach person.

Last time we went to Miami, we didn't go all the way to Key West. We stayed in Key Largo, saw a shark about 10 yards off the beach. Went to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and rented a boat again. Then we went to Marathon Key and had a nice time there. The Big Fish Grille in Key Largo has fish tacos that are not to be missed.

NEXT TIME I go to Miami/the Keys, me and Wifey will get a tattoo at Miami Ink!
