But how stupid was it for Hiro to open up the safe then tear open the envelope? His character is not dumb, so I didn't understand that. And if I were Ando, I would have bitch-slapped him for opening something that COULD END THE WORLD. AGAIN.

Ando doesn't know any better. Hiro used to be my favourite character but he's way too cutesy wootzy now. Letting himself get punched? Refusing to go back in time to get that diagram thing? Idiot!

Nikki having a new power might be a side effect of her multiple personality thing? Hey, how about her working for Sheridan from B5?

YES. I was very annoyed when Hiro opened the envelope and the formula was stolen immediately. That was just stupid. The new superfast chick is cute though.

^Yeah. She reminds me of Tabitha "Boom Boom" from X-men comics, although she didn't run fast. But her quirky personality and out of control hair made me think of her.

So Scar Peter shoots Nathan. Naturally, normal Peter and Matt Parkman (Chief Wiggum) give chase. Unfortunately for them, Scar Peter just isn't in the mood to calmly explain everything (he was never as smart as he thought he was), so he sends Matt Parkman to the African desert where he can't do any harm... and hey, he might lose a few pounds. Scar Peter sends normal Peter to the company's prison cells. It's not clear yet, but he either changed Peter's appearance, or put his mind into the body of a prisoner named Jesse Fatface.

It was my understanding that Scar Peter put normal Peter into Jesse Fatface.

Most likely, but on the other hand, Scar Peter might have some power where he could just make Peter Peter look like Jesse Fatface, but not actually be in the guy's body.

Otherwise, if Peter's mind is in Jesse Fatface's body, then what's happening to Peter's body? Is Jesse Fatface in it, locked away in a bathroom somewhere stroking Peter's manmeat and drooling over his newfound muscley body? We can only hope tonight's episode answers these questions and more!

See, I didn't even remember that it was on, which sucks since I loved s1. If this season is any good, I'll catch it on reruns or DVD.

Last night's ep was another good one. The new partnership should be stretching credibility, but somehow it works really well and it's nice to have an answer to the Nikki/Tracey question, although I'm worried Micah won't be in it anymore now.

A well acted kid with a mediocre power makes a change from loads of do-gooding adults with 10 powers each.

This episode had the following exchange:

"Why did you come? You must have had a dozen chances to get away."

"You were going to hurt people. I couldn't let that happen."

"Now I know you're full of it. No one's that heroic."

Micah's actually one of the more consistently written characters too, I suppose, in that he doesn't turn evil or stupid every week as the plot demands it.

Except for a scene in season two when his cousin was skipping (because she had the power of learning to skip) and he turned into a total spacko, all clapping and jumping up and down.

Anyway, he's an original. That automatically makes him more important than Maya or any other replacement characters.
