Is this real life?
Another loop hole I noticed was that the fat couple spent 5,000 credits on the prize draw to get on the trip and claimed that it'd take them years to pay it back, yet at the end it turns out that 50 million credits = £1 million. They'd have to be living in the streets for it to take years to pay back 5,000 credits.
Anyway, it was ohhh-kaaaay. Could've been worse, but it didn't seem to go anywhere. I liked the misinterpretations about Christmas(reminded me of Living Witness, the Voyager episode where the Doctor has to explain that humans aren't violent savages). I'm glad someone else picked up on that stupid gay reference about the robots having equal rights. When that happened I was more annoyed at a TV show than I have been for a long time. RTD is a fucking moron. Subtlety? HEARD OF IT?!
Kylie wasn't so bad... the worst bit of her acting was when they stared at Earth out of the window, but that was partly due to the art dept. The two of them were looking in the wrong direction.
Half looking forward to next year.. but the sound of Catherine Tate shouting "DocTAR!" will get annoying virtually instantly.
