"Rep Alliances" go way back to pretty much the founding of Wordforge. Rep is a little game some people play for amusement. The original crew, which included Storm and Jeriko, wanted to lead the community in the amount of rep points they had, so they found like-minded political folks to form a rep alliance with. Basically, it works like this: you rep them, and they rep you. And they all circle jerk each other to being #1 on the scorecard.
"Rep Wars" are activities people do against either people they dislike, or people's whose political/religious views differ from theirs, and they want to take away rep points from them. So they either go at it alone vs someone they disagree with, or they get their "Rep Alliance" involved, and a whole bunch of them neg rep one person until that said person can no longer give reputation "points" to any one else.
This, buddy, is what happened to you.
Sokar knew if you got into the green, you would probably neg rep him three ways till Sunday, so he took pre-emtive action to prevent you from doing so. (Besides the point he thinks you're an ass, but that is none of my business.)
Your ifullyknow character seems more popular and engaging than FIG, so perhaps you should just post like a normal poster, and eventually the other lefties on the board will like what you have to say, and pos rep you.
However, if you really are thinking of starting a rep war against Sokar, it's not something I think you can win. Our resources are vast, and our lil group only encompasses a small arm of the Rep War machine there. There are at least 10-15 or so members in our alliance that would be ready to back each other up if push came to shove.
Just post like a normal poster, don't start rep wars, and you'll do fine.
