What, Age of Empires is not useful to you?
 
Civ4 is much nicer for those of us who don't care for RTS gameplay.

Have to edit the combat values, though. It is far too common for a neanderthal with his club to kill a helicopter gunship.

Can't tell you how many times a Caravel has taken out a Destroyer using the original combat values.

My worst loss was a Modern Armor unit to some club-wieldin' buck-toothed faggot.
