The George Lucas episode was pretty funny!

I liked that they made fun of what a terrible, unthreatening villain Vandal Savage was last season.
 
The one from the villains' point of view was good. It's actually been more consistent than Arrow or Flash lately.
 
Since when was Malcolm anti killing though? He wanted to level half the city, in one season and was on board with nuking the world in another.
 
Well it's not like anyone's ever written consistently in Arrow! I guess he'll kill when necessary but slaughtering a whole bank of people isn't his first choice.
 
Why did they do a Christmas episode in February?

Evil Rip is much better than good Rip was.
 
Would be nice if just once one of them says "what the hell are you doing" and shoves her away.
 
Or if they exploded when she kissed them and it turns out they were a robot with a self destruct mechanism triggered by lesbianism.

So in the real history, Tolkien was sent back to England because he was seriously ill. But in this episode his illness was cured by a spacehsip from the future. So did he just continue to fight in the war after that? Did they get Tolkien killed? HUH?
