With regard to the pharmaceutical industry in the U.S. jacking up prices -- the fuck did you think would happen when the government guarantees them payment via mandatory insurance? Did you think that would mean they'd have to price their shit competitifely for the consumer? The consumer isn't the one paying the pharmaceutical companies!
