oh, something i forgot, i'd recommend to anyone looking to try linux, to run it with windows in dual boot if your only running one computer.
you need to learn about boot managers, Lilo and Grub, google them, and read
if your on dial-up know this, most modems will not work with linux, there are only certain modems with the proper linux drivers to support them. Your best bet is too google around and read linux newbie forums, like www.linuxforums.org

Okay, Feldmarshell says that 9.1 is old; 9.3 won't work with 64 bit and thaqt you need 10.1 or better.
