List a single trolling technique.

Deliberately word your responses with such lousy syntax & grammar that no one can make heads or tails of what you're trying to say. When they ask for clarification, imply that they aren't intelligent enough to follow your subtle verbal nuances.
 
The Uncouth Yes-Man, a tried and true classic: Seize on the most well-reasoned side in an argument between others, then take that side while being an absolute, irredeemable ass. When the poster you sided with changes their own position to avoid being associated with you, you've nailed it.
 
And its polar opposite, The Finishing-School Nazi: Take the most despicable position you can think of, then defend it with flawless reasoning and Stoic aplomb so that the people who hold the 'moral" position eventually degenerate into vile pricks.

Defending the indefensable is always a good technique. Its bound to attract atleast one victim, usuallly multiple ones. Ive recently employed it defending BP on their oil spill. Lots of fun.
 

Find someone who's obviously PRETENDING to defend something indefensible, and engage them every chance you get, over a long period of time, with only your own beliefs and principles to guide you. Eventually they build up such a case and get so good at arguing their faux-conviction it that they actually wind up believing it themselves, and can’t remember thinking any other way.
