I checked it a week or two ago and it was fine, so this is a recent development.
 
Maybe some server glitch? I can't say I ever visit, but it is kind of comforting to think it's still around.
 
I think whisky is still an admin there, maybe he knows sumfin?
 
According to the Admin CP, Partsking did it.

Cant say I blame him, paying a monthly fee for a board where people post less than once a month.

Maybe he is seeing if anyone gets in touch with him and asks him for it to be reopened?
 
I posted on Steve's timeline a few hours ago, he was probably in bed already so we'll see tomorrow...

Yeah, I might've abandoned it years ago, but once upon a time it was a great release valve and a place to talk to people unrelated to anything else that was going on in my life. And now I have some lifelong friends from it.
 
To be honest, after the last upgrade, the Name Change thread disappeared and was no longer kept up, so I stopped knowing who the hell was posting after a while.
 
I remember finding that really annoying back when I tried to post there.
 
We tried to limit it to one name change a year, some people thought that was overly oppressive.
 
I always liked the name. Especially since I never saved it on my bookmarks so I would type in "Lonaf" and google would assume I meant "Loaf". Okay, I like Lonaf for other reasons also.
