Yes, especially since there was no clamoring for it in the AQG, nor an especially large group of people who needed it.

You raise an interesting point re the membership there...though lately ive been spotting a lot of 'new' or not previously recognised names pop up...then again, i don't visit there often (i get bored by it) and i don't keep track.

I assumed they were just people who joined and then forgot about EI only to come back to it later. I joined in 04, posted a few times and then disappeared only to come back at the end of 05.

Osiris was forced to tell the truth finally and the KHC board wasn't coming back. Thats why he never started any kind of temporary board for its members. He just gave a line of BS, now its because Keith is not working. Maybe he'll come back to 'All My Children' since Julia was recently back....hmmmm...He'll have to take less money for work.

Wonder how long EI will keep the forum open for a dead board? Particularly when those same folks already had a place to post and talk to each other called the Beach.

They might as well delete a few other dead forums while their at it. Such as
Personal Finance and they had to have their own forum because no one could find it when it was a sub forum - Industry Insider Updates. Currently has 3 threads posted on in the last month. WHOA, so hot in there it sizzles.....

I find it a bore, as well, Virginia. The parties aren't great and only about once a week does their science department boast an interesting thread. No wonder they buried my link to my FF on the Scifi board. Smack dab in the middle of it, was their very own Anastasia, Watchdog extraoridaire, flaming the crap out of me, as a would a " worthless troll". Then she chokes on her glee like a mad dog in heat. She did it of her own volition. I didn't ask for her to flame and gloat. Not only did she embarass me, she seemed to enjoy it immensely.

I'm really disappointed your taking a break from us eloisel. :(

I'm very sorry that you were given false hope. However I don't think its our fault and you shouldn't stop posting here because of what happen there.

Sorry you feel that way. It isn’t about you but about me. Sometimes the rain stays too long. Sometimes the only thing in the mail is bad news. Sometimes the phone rings and more bad news follows. Some days it gets dark too soon. Some nights are too long and I wake up long before dawn and can’t go back to sleep. Sometimes the last thing I need in the morning is waiting for me to walk in the door. And, sometimes, when I feel like one more thing and I’m jumping off a cliff, I say “screw that shit” and take a break.

Now, excuse me. I don't drink so I'm off to sing sad songs and pet my cat until I feel better.

Well you go off and do what needs to be done I do understand. Take all the time you wish.

We all have days, nights, weeks and sometimes months of what you discribe but I just choose not to post about it.

Sad songs would be a good start in matching my present mood too. Life can be pretty bleak sometimes especially after a steady diet of pokes, jabs and barked shins. Retreat, recuperate and then rejoin the party in progress. All that party chatter hides more than just shyness.
 
Nah, nothing serious, just painful and annoying. i'll be glad to get it cleared up, even with the annoyance of surgery.
