Boobie inspector
Seen it now, and despite the heavily trailered "I have answers" bit by Ben, we just got loads more questions, with nothing resolved.

Well maybe the fake crash resolved, its ovbiously not a seperate timeline that converged into the firsts reality because of Desmonds time traveling, its a plane full of people that were (hopefully) already dead, either that or someone killed 300 people just so they would stop looking for the real plane.

Ghostbuster coming for Jacob, you betcha!

That Ben sure can take a pounding.

Counting all seasons, we have now seen him beaten by Syied, Jack, Sawyer, Locke and Rousoue.

His internal organs should be pate by now

Just posted in the otehr thread, will paste here...

RIGHT, having seen it, yes, great episode. It felt longer than a regular episode too because so much was crammed in. I liked all the new characters and the actors all seemed like good choices. Charlotte is cute (to be honest Libby is the only female cast member I haven't found hot and she was okay anyway), Daniel is jittery, Myles is INTENSE and the pilot is Billy Connolly. The flashbacks were really cool and bizarre including ghost-busting (apparently!) and a polar bear skeleton in Tunisia.

FUNNIEST LINE OF THE SEASON SO FAR

Locke: It was Walt...only taller.
Sawyer: What, like a giant!?

ISSUES

- The cow the pilot saw...was it THE MONSTER in the form of a cow or was it from Mikhail's land? Because I seem to remember Mikhail having a cow...someone confirm if he did.

- Ben constantly getting beaten up is going to get quite tedious if it goes on.

- Somehow I don't believe Ben when he says he doesn't know what the monster is.

- If not the pilot's body, THEN WHO!? A TALLER WALT'S BODY!?

crazy predictions

1) Sayed and Juilet will be shagging by the end of the season. They gave each other "a look" on the beach.
2) CHARLOTTE IS BEN'S MAN ON THE BOAT. He knew she was wearing a bullet-proof vest and the whole shooting her thing was a charade.
3) Naomi's corpse appears in every episode for the rest of the season, until finally Hurley uses it to fool Ben in a Weekend at Bernie's moment.

There's for sure some sort of teleportation or time-travel involved - especially if you watch that (maybe spoilery?) Orchid Video.

That video needs to get in an episode, and pronto.

I always thought that video was just supposed to be something funny for the fans with the rabbit being duplicated(!?) and the "don't let them near each other!" line reminding me of Lazurus from Star Trek...but yeah, could be significant since that seems to be what happened to the polar bear and maybe the plane...but since it wasn't the Greg Grunberg pilot, who was it? A duplicate of drunken guy? Drunken guy himself TRAVELLED BACK IN TIME OR SOME SHIT!?

I thought the "dont let them near each other" bit was a homage to timecop, where touching your previous self causes both versions to explode.

Of course it could also bring on the reavers, if its a doctor who homage.

Cal over on LONAF thinks the man on the boat is Michael and it makes a lot of sense. He worked with the others, he got directions on how to get to the real world and it's possible that he lost Walt again, requiring a trip back to the island.

I'm also getting a bit tired of Ben getting beaten up. It's weird.. he seems to ask for it.

Oh and what's with that pic of him apparently in the real world? Didn't he say he'd never left the island? For some reason I'd always believed that.

I think Mikhail did have a cow, but I don't remember what it looked like. Seems like someone would have eaten it by now if he did.

He had a cat too...we should see the cat and Vincent interacting more. Maybe a whole episode about them.

I'm relying on you guys talking about the episode so I can remember the details! lol

I thought the ghost stuff was kinda cheesy! I've been hoping for a scientific explanation for the weird stuff that's been happening. Then when that guy ghost whispered that old ladies grandson it made me worry that they'll go more in a supernatural direction. I'm hoping that whatever causes the magnetic shit also causes ghosts or something I DON'T KNOW.

Wasn't it said, AGES AGO, by the producers that everything on the island could be explained scientifically. I doubt it now.

BUT REMEMBER Daniel said something about the light not "scanning" right on the island, so all the invisible stuff could just be light...bending...or something.

Yeah but that ladies dead grandson wasn't on the island. So that means there are ghosts who can tell you where to find hidden drug money!

When Desmond turned the failsafe key some of the magnetic energy from the island leaked out into the real world and made ghosts visible to certain people like Myles...that's also why Hurley could see Charlie off the island.

Also because Hurley goes batshit sometimes.

BUT REMEMBER Daniel said something about the light not "scanning" right on the island, so all the invisible stuff could just be light...bending...or something.

He said it wasn't scattering right, which is an effect of magnetism discovered by his namesake, the physicist Faraday. I thought that was a nice little nod.

I hope there are more sciency things!

Hmmmm I wonder if magnetism is to blame for Sylvia Brown.

EVERY GHOST IN THE WORLD could be created by the Monster...but what is the Monster, how can that be explained scientifically...

The smoke monster? Someone last year, I think, said that maybe it's made out of little particles of metal OR SOMETHING and it's all done with magnets, lol.

Heres something very subtle we might have missed.

Miles (ghostbuster) goes up the stairs, he passes these pictures which we get a good look at.

lostqg6.jpg

He does what he does and comes down the stairs, past the same pictures, but not quite the same pictures, and definatly not the same frames

Some people recon the boaties flashbacks all happened around the time Desmond threw the failsafe, which means his little time traveling experience, or maybe just the failsafe itself changed the timeline.

Picture frames change, a man who knows noone on the plane, suddenly finds himself crying, someone who was the co-pilot is now the pilot, and an archilogical dig suddenly has a polar bear in it.

That is weird.

Some would say a nagger stole the old frame so they had to buy a new one.

BARACK OBAMA THAT"S WHICH ONE STOLLE THE OLE PICURE FRAME!!
