Don't open this thread if you haven't seen it, IF YOU DO, DON'T GET MAD AT ME BUDDY.

Wow.. AWESOME episode.

OK, question about why Kate was running about a free woman are now answered. Looks like they've all got their stories down pat about there being only 8 survivors of the crash, and I'm thinking they're not saying where the real island is or that it has weird properties (no one would believe them anyway).

Also, the question of who Kate had to get back home to has been answered. Did you catch the name of the baby? She said Aaron.. I'm thinking this probably means Claire is dead, also thinking that things don't look too hot for Desmond. Obviously if they're saying only 8 survived the crash and there are only 6 who made it off the island then two people must have died during the rescue.

The reason Jack doesn't want to see the baby is another question. I'm thinking it probably means he feels responsible about Claire's death.. because it was obvious from last night that Kate knew she wasn't preggers and the reason she wouldn't have sex with Sawyer was because she was on her period (ICK lol).

OK THAT'S ALLFOR NOW.

PLEASE DONT READ THIS UKERS!!!!!

SPOILAGE!

shit! I totally missed the significance of her calling the tot Aaron!! akkk!

and that would make the convo about babies and being a mom with Claire be all the more pointed.

lol@ Ghostbuster and his offer to Ben. WHO the hell IS Ben???
But Locke is really going off the deep end - a grenade in the mouth?! Where the hell'd he even GET such a sadistic idea? "I'm here to protect the interests of the Island" ok, creepy Looney Tunes!

I dont think Sawyer's comment warrented the slap...Kate's a hypocrite there. he's right...she should install revolving doors between his place and Jack's.

I'm a UKer but I read it because I've seen the episode! HA!

I think the fact that Desmond said he saw Claire and Aaron get on the helicopter in his vision means that they will at least do that (because his visions have all come true before), but that means that maybe something happens to Claire on Naiomi's boat perhaps.

PERHAPS.

Yeah, I can't think of any other reason for Kate to have Aaron. WE'LL MISS YOU CLAIRE!!

What about the psychic that told Claire that she HAD to be the one who raised Aaron back in season 1? WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN NOW, MOFOS?

I agree with you, curiousa2z, about Locke being coo coo. This is one of the things about Lost that irritates me at times. They keep so many damn secrets from each other. Locke should be talking to Hurley about the damn cabin. Locke should be talking to Sawyer or maybe even Kate about Ben and Miles. LOCKE doesn't know everything, the bastard. I still love him, even though he's pretty creepy.

BUt then the psychic changed his mind and said it would be better if Aaron was raised in L.A. by other parents.

AND NOW HE IS!!!!

I don't remember him saying that! OH.. MAYBE I DO. I just thought he said that so Claire would get on the airplane and crash and then have no choice but to raise Aaron herself.

Maybe Jack doesn't want to see Aaron because he knows Claire is his sister or Aaron is his brother or whatever weird thing was going on with Christian Shepard?

I loved the scenes with Kate and Sawyer. Sawyer was so bang on with his remark about her flitting between him and Jack. Made me laugh out loud.

I don't get why Locke is still walking around to be honest. This week he basically said he wanted to kill Kate, but that he wasn't going to. He's a lunatic. A bit more dumb writing, though, I think. Is Locke really stupid enough to leave the house with Sawyer when he KNOWS that Kate wants to get to Ben and that Sawyer and her are in a fucking relationship? Don't go off to the boathouse you moron! Stay where you are!

Ooo.. I forgot about him being Claire's brother. I don't think he knows about it, or he'd be the one taking care of Aaron. Of course we don't know how Kate came to have Aaron in the first place, maybe Claire asked her to take care of him right before she died.

PLEASE DON'T LET DESMOND BE DEAD, YOU LOST BASTARDS!

SO SAY WE ALL BROTHER!

oooh, I also forgot about the Jack/Claire sibling thing. In which case, why would jack avoid seeing Aaron? The kid would be the last remaining kin Jack had.

I just don't think he's put that together yet. I don't remember him and Claire having any conversations about it.

no, so there one BIG REVELATION yet to come.

the writers need to keep it together though. some of the characters are not acting in character.
never in a million years am I gonna believe Sayid falls under Ben's thumb. And Hurley working for Locke to trick anyone? dont think so.
STRIKE'S OVER, WRITERS. PUT THE CRACK PIPE DOWN.

I just don't think he's put that together yet. I don't remember him and Claire having any conversations about it.

No, but by the time of the flashforward he might have. I don't think it's very likely, but it's possible. If this was the case, then maybe he'd avoid Aaron because he was freaked out. It's hard to explain in any case. :-/

Yeah.. maybe he does know and he's pissed about his dad cheating on his mom or something.

Another good episode...probably the weakest so far, but still better than things were this time last season.

SO, AARON. Obviously we don't know what's really going on and everyone's speculating and stuff. Surely the outside world can't believe Kate was heavily pregnant during the crash? Because she obviously wasn't and people saw her in Australia...they can't believe Aaron is her biological son, surely. So either Claire dies (NO!) or she gives Aaron to Kate and stays on the island (to be with zombie Charlie?) or Kate STEALS THE BABY.

Claire got some lines! She...didn't seem upset about Charlie dying. And I don't buy her living under Locke's tyranical rule. Still, don't want her to die.

Are we all agreed that Locke is just a crazy, scary nut now?

Kate is pretty hot, but she's a manipulative bitch. Sawyer was dead right with what he said about her running between him and Jack.

Sawyer and Hurley as roomates? GENIUS BIG BROTHER, GENIUS.

Miles seems to have been almost totally ruined by this ep. All he wants is money? Or was the 3.2 million some SECRET CODE to Ben (since Ben asked him why that number)? Anyway, he ended up with a grenade in his mouth and totally pwned and that isn't good. He'll have to do some serious ghost-busting to make up for it.

Would the biting down on the grenade thing really work?

Daniel has memory problems? Maybe he has some brain disease that will be cured by the island.

Desmond might not be dead, Jack and the other oceanic six's stories say the island was deserted, since Desmond wasnt on the plane he cant be one of the six, but that dosnt mean he didnt make it off, or Penny got to the island and they stayed there.

Either way I think Desmond is too tied into the story now to die before the last season, if not the last episode.

I think the survivors might get whittled down a bit before the end, but I dont beleive only 6 survived, as we already know Ben is a survivor outside of those 6, and they are covering for others (not the others!)

As long as you hold the handle of the grenade and dont release it, you can hold it forever, and even put the pin back in, but once that handle is released, you have four seconds (or more, or less, thats ajustable, but four is the default) then boom.

Maybe Miles wants to buy something that costs exactly 3.2 million dollars.

Maybe Daniels problems only started when Desmond went back in time, as we saw he couldnt remember why he was crying at the plane crash.

Oh I don't believe that there are only 6 people left alive, but I seriously don't think it looks good for Desmond or Claire :( Desmond because he was on the helicopter with Sayid, and Claire because Kate has Aaron. I'M STILL HOPEFUL.

BTW, its really hard to tell how old a baby is just by looking at them, we are assuming they go to the boat, have a bit of a ruck, then leave straight away, then it would be awkard to explain how the non pregnant kate has a two or three month old baby.

If they are on the boat a year, or the crazy time dilation effects kick in, and they have been missing for a year or two, then she can just lie about Aarons age.

Surely some of them must stay on the island though, otherwise why go back? And we'd then have to have episodes set entirely off the island, which would be weird.

I SUSPECT that Desmond might have to return to the island for some reason.

I think the following will be "left behind": Locke, Claire (if alive!), Sawyer, Juliet, Desmond (after returning), Rose, Bernard, Miles, Daniel, Charlotte (all stranded too...why introduce them as regulars if they're just going to leave at the end of the season or whenever?)

Well Syied made it back, so why not Desmond?
