Lost: Cabin Fever

Well she was basically living in her weird Bunker all that time, scared of getting infected and probably only venturing out to get food. ALSO SHE WAS CRAZY!!!!!!!
 
Okay, so Ben had a four year old Alex when he was out killing his dad? Or did Dharma take Alex for themself then Ben took her after he killed Dharma? But he said he stole her from a crazy woman. Did Dharma let their workman steal babies all the time?
 
Roussea was pregnant with Alex when they crashed on the island, so I'm guessing either the Ben took Alex when he was with the Dharma people, or the other group of the island, the one lead my Richard, took her, and Ben only started looking after her after he'd joined them.
 
Or maybe time just moved slower on Rusous part of the island.

After all, when the boaties first arrived the time differential between the freighter and the island was 35 minutes, and when the chopper took off it was two days (the morse code message)
 
I thought part 1 of season finale was less interested than Cabin Fever -- Cabin Fever may be my favorite all-time episode.

Also I have a lot of faith in these writers, the freighter bit has really worked out dynamite and none of us saw it coming at all (I don't think).

Just please dear 4-lb-5-oz-baby-jesus, do not let this go all X-Files on me. I couldn't watch "serious" tv for like 7 years after they broke my heart.
 
So is John living his life backwards?

It might explain how he knows when its going to rain, why he always knew he was destined to do something with his life, and why as a boy he knew about black smoke monsters and wanted a knife.
 
Also, I think this episode makes it clear, flashbacks are not memories had by the character, because..

A) Locke couldnt have memories of his mother before he was born
B) If he could remember meeting Richard in the past, he should have recognised him in the present.
 
Also its been pointed out that both Ben and Locke were premature babies whos mother was called Emily, so its possible there was some kind of chosen one prophesy, and Richard had to chose which one would be their new leader.

I think probably the characters can remember some of what's in the flashbacks, but obviously not all of it. I always saw the flashbacks as a way of helping us understand some of the characters' present actions and emotions. How the past effects the future or something.
 
Was a bit of a cop-out that we still didn't get to see Jacob, just Christian speaking for him (and Claire lookong all hot and high...maybe Jacob was having ghost sex with her.)
 
FUCK, just read a repor that Claire won't be in season five but will return in season six. What a bag of SHITE.
 
So we have to wait until 2010 to find out why she's in the cabin and it'll just be something lame like "oh, I had to use its bathroom!"

DIDN'T I SAY they can't write female characters!?

Kate: Hot, but the never-ending love triangle is really grinding my gears. Steals babies.
Sun: Hasn't done much this season. I suppose she might do more next season if she's trying to get back to the island.
Juliet: Completely irrelevant now. Poor flashback this year, wouldn't be surprised if they kill her in the finale.
Charlotte: Has done nothing but hit Kate over the head once, speak Korean and say "bloody" a few times. No hints of a backstory even (but same goes for Dan and Miles really.)
Rose: Maybe she'll become a regular next year? BUT I DOUBT IT.
Danielle and Alex: Dead.
