That she was Rousseau's daughter was tickling my mind the whole time.. maybe Ben is her "adopted" father. The girl was kidnapped when she was little.. can't remember how old.

I forget everything Rousseau said and can't be bothered to look on lostpedia, but didn't the Others take her hubby? Maybe Ben was lying when he said he'd been there all his life, maybe he was part of Rousseau's research team.

Admittedly, that is a bit of a stretch, although I seem to remember she also said he'd caught the virus which we now know was invented to keep people in the hatch or something oh it's all far too confusing.

I don't know if Sawyer could be brainwashed in that short time.. I think whatever they were doing to Karl was probably breaking him so they could control him. So some human would have to come along and make suggestions. Not that I know anything about brainwashing!

I didn't like the others either, the first half of this season was bad because it focused on them and not our regular Losties. I kinda like Alex though because she has a slingshot!

Ok, Danielle (crazy french bith) claimed that her whole team was killed by something like a sickness. Probably she just thought they were sick and killed them herself. Either is possible considering her.

Alex is her daughter, and was taken by the Others much like Walt was taken and like they tried to take a prenatal Aaron. Alex was raised by Ben and probably truly believes Ben is her real father (though by the way she's acting, she may have somehow discovered the truth of the matter).
