Louis Theroux: America's Most Hated Family In Crisis

Following up on his 2007 documentary, The Most Hated Family in America, Louis Theroux returns to Topeka, Kansas, for a week-long visit with the Westboro Baptist Church.

He again joins the Phelps family on their controversial pickets where they try to antagonise communities with offensive slogans and anti-gay placards. But four years on from Louis's last visit, there are signs of disarray in the Phelps clan. A series of defections of family members has shaken up the church.

Looking forward to this. I read a bit of the article on the BBC News site yesterday, but often with those they seem to cover the same ground as the actual show (it's basically spoilers) so I stopped. Sound like it'll be really interesting, as we'd expect.

Yeah I vaguely remember the first one being good (ALTHOUGH IT WOULD'VE BEEN NICE TO HAVE A REPEAT OF IT ON IPLAYER OR SOMETHING, EH BBC?) so I'll watch this and things!

Good as ever. When they said they might move to Israel and Louis laughed I wondered if this was filmed before or after his trip to meet the religious nuts there?

The little boy had a TIE fighter. You can't talk to half your family, but you can watch Star Wars!

The songs were actually pretty good.

It was interesting to see Louis a bit more vocal than usual, challenging his subjects and satisfyingly winning arguments.

Yeah apparently they're allowed to watch pretty much any film regardless of rating because when you're out daily telling people they're going to rot in the pits of hell for having anal sex watching films seems a bit tame.
