Man Kills wife over a cup of tea

PATNA India: A man has killed his wife for refusing to prepare a cup of tea for him, Bihar police said on Monday.

Anil Singh, 32, murdered his wife Reena Devi, 26, in Phasia Chilmara village of Katihar district on Saturday after she refused to give him tea. "The woman expressed her helplessness as there was no tea or sugar in their home at that time," a police official said.

The angry husband, however, hit her hard on head with a thick piece of wood, leading to her instant death, the official said.

Police are searching for Singh.
