So, I did like the whole season. It was good fun with some great Maul character moments and Devon's progression was all logical. Amazing lightsaber fights that didn't really get boring. I do wish it had been more than ten episodes though. I'm sure Clone Wars used to get 20 or more a season. The last few episodes were basically one long chase sequence - I'm not complaining, the action was great - with a long season we could have gotten more of Maul actually being a crime lord and Lawson actually being a good cop.
It was sad when the wacky droid died.
I think Maul kind of made a split second decision with Daki. His leg was acting up and he knew they couldn't beat Vader together, but he wanted to help Devon so sacrificing Daki in that moment made sense (and helped with his long term goal of making Devon angry.)
I didn't mind Maul not speaking for most of it, but it was a bit jarring that he and Vader didn't say anything to each other at all when they were fighting. Did Maul ever fight Anakin in Clone Wars, I can't even remember. I guess their A.I. James Earl Jones voice started malfunctioning or something.
Lawson obviously isn't dead, there would be no story point in having him see Maul betray Daki if he was just going to die right away. Maybe the night club woman saved him, somehow (she didn't die either, she rolled to safety last week.)
