I like the tall cop. I think he was on that short-lived series about the people who were held hostage in a bank. The guy that plays Phlox was one of the characters, along with Tim Daly.
 
This started on Five last night. Not bad! I'm not sure I'll like it if he just goes around making everyone else look like idiots, could get a bit samey after a while, but the writing seems pretty good. It's a bit like Monk, but a bit less interesting and funny.

Poor old Rex from Desperate Housewives, he gets shot in every show he's in!
 
It gets better. All the episodes so far have been solid and fun crime mystery stories written well so stick with it.

I certainly wouldn't call it revolutionary or anything like that but it's pretty good.
 
Yeah, I'll keep with it since I'll need something to make up for Dexter being gone (season 2 just ended on ITV... slow coaches).
 
I should have checked the listings, finding out the night after it was on isnt going to help me watch it any
 
It should be on Five's iplayer thing, although it never works properly for me.

Have to remember The Wire is starting on Monday, too. That always gets rave revues.

Meanwhile, I've totally given up on Damages (the one with Glenn Close). The first season was pretty good, but this time I've just found it way too slow and boring.
 
Isnt the wire on every night?

That sort of thing annoys me, as you either need to give the show too much of your time, or get hopelessly behind if you tape one, and have to keep taping them while catch up.
 
I'm still watching The Mentalist, I love Simon Baker!
