I was really surprised when they killed Gwen's dad. More Morgana was good. It's actually better when she's the main character instead of drippy Merlin.
 
Merlin's ears will be so large next week, he will slip into orbit & be mistaken for a Bajoran Solar Sail Ship.
 
I spotted Morgana's tits twice in the preview for next week and of course Michelle Ryan looking evil in front of some water.
 
Any more appearances and she'll have been in more episodes of this than Bionic Woman.
 
Katee Sachoff should join the cast in season two as Uther's new wife.

Good finale. I thought Richard Wilson would stay dead, so I was pleased he magically okay. Michelle Ryan exploded1 I'm also glad the asshole dragon finally turned heel. He's always been a cunt. Looks like he'll be the "Big Bad" for season two.

All the stuff with Morgana waking up and looking confused was a bit pointless (nice tits though.)
 
Yeah, I was expecting them to do more with Morgana, all the other characters had something to do before the end, but the last shot of her was just her staring out a window in silence.

Good finale over all, and I'm glad they kept Gaius even though it would've been a good send off and would have kept Michelle Ryan around. I'm sure she'll be back next series somehow anyway, they haven't resolved her beef with Uther.

The rain comment made me lol. :)
 
She blew up! I guess she could be a ghost or something.
 
For the big bad that's been lurking in the background all this time her death was a bit of an anticlimax.

Also, had they ever used the term "the old religion" before this episode? It felt like it was said every few seconds tonight. :)
 
And how did Merlin get to the island when Gaius had already taken the boat?
 
I wondered that too. I thought they'd show him do something magical like getting the horse to walk on water, but they just cut straight to him being there stupidly quickly.
