I use word a lot, have done for years, use it at home, use it at work, I even took ECDL and advanced ECDL, which should make me an expert at word, which without blowing my own trumpet, I pretty much was, at least until now.

Word 2007, WTF!?

Nothing is where it used to be, the thing looks nothing like any previous version of word, all my knowledge of where things are and what they do is useless.

A classic case of fixing something that wasn't broken.

It's free. It's legal. You can save files as their MS Office counterparts. It's essentially Office without the annoying paper-clip.

I agree. I've no idea what they were thinking. First thing I did was download a third party program that put the classic toolbar back. Quite why they couldn't have put that in as an option, do idea. Excel is even more borked than Word.

I quite like Word 2007, and I find the ribbon toolbar pretty good!
