Seph, this latest Star Trek is superb. Really. Give it a try. I paid good money and watched it twice in the theatre (would've watched it three times but life happened) and have it on my Xmas list.

It came out this year, it's on DVD now. We talked about it in the Mine Field A LOT so I thought you would have known. It was written and directed by completely new people who haven't done Trek before. Berman, Braga and the rest are long gone. Leonard Nimoy is in it.

I don't know if it was superb, it was pretty good though.

I agree with the good memeber from Canada, you should go see the movie.

As Wacky said its out on dvd, so check your local video store or netflix for it.
 
yeah, after I wrote 'superb', I thought that was a bit over the top. There are movies that really are superb.....But I did like it a whole lot.
 
It may not have been superb, but it was a lot of fun. I like fun movies.
