LOL, the main FOX studios and backlot are literally just behind the building I work in. From one of our conference rooms, you can the soundtages (one of them has Marilyn Monroe painted on it).

I've seen Hugh Laurie leaving on his moto-sikkle more than once.

Hey! I'm on Santa Monica boulevard all the time! (no i'm not) It's around the corner from my work! (no it's like 10 miles away) I see celebrities there all the time (another lie, the biggest celebrity i've seen so far is Tom Cruise in the basement garage of my building. And Hugh Laurie riding his motorcycle off the Fox lot)

D'oh!

Actually, I have a top-of-the-line Sharp Aquos 52" Special Edition 1080p. Got it for a ridiculous price.

Oh, one more thing, the Fox soundstages are literally around the corner from where I work in Century City. Hers and Josh Jackson's mug were plastered all over the side of the building for months over the summer. Hell, if I hung out there, I'd probably get to see her leaving sooner or later. I saw Hugh Laurie leaving on his motosikkle once.

Well, maybe "met" is exagerrating. What I mean to say is, I work literally around the corner from the FOX production lot, and I pass by their entrance on the way to my son's school, and one day last week I was waiting at the light and Hugh Laurie came roaring past on his sweet motorcycle.

He looked like he was in a bad mood.

I once saw Ian Botham picking his nose in a county match!

Sounds to me that Fox didn't want to pay the actors ten times what they were being paid before.

I doubt they'll actually go through with recasting the show. It's either a publicity stunt, or the voice actors thought "Let's just ask for more money because they're never recast us." and Fox is just calling their bluff.

The TV movies were all pretty good, but all suffered from the writers not being able to write that well for a longer format, so normal sized episodes would be good.

Five members of the original cast of the Fox animated series Futurama are returning for the series’ reboot, thanks to a deal just sealed with 20th Century Fox TV. Variety is reporting that Katey Sagal, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, Billy West, and John DiMaggio will continue to provide their character voices for 26 new episodes of the animated Matt Groening sci-fi comedy, which will start airing on Comedy Central in 2010. Word of the deal comes less than a month after Fox put out a casting call for replacement actors. In a joint statement issued tonight, Groening and co-producer David X. Cohen said: “We are thrilled to have our incredible cast back. The call has already gone out to the animators to put the mouths back on the characters.”
