Movies every person should see

There is absolutely nothing good about jewish controlled hollywood and never has been. There are no movies people should see, anyone that still pays attention to Hollywoods egalatarian propaganda is an idiot. Shit people you would figure that you would gather enough intelligence to avoid watching this mainstream crap like the plague. Please gather some semblance of reality and realize that it is all bullshit.

You're just pissed because they never wanted to make a movie of your comic book character.
I prefer it that way, even though the character wasn't that popular in the comics either. I hate it whenever hollywood rapes a franchise and makes it mainstream. It pisses me off to no end.

1. Miller's Crossing - best gangster period piece evah and probably my favorite Coen brothers film.
2. Dune (David Lynch) - even though there is much much more to the book than the movie, the art direction, set design, costuming, and special effects (for its time) are fantastic.
3. The Life of Brian - the funniest parody of religion I've ever seen, and my personal Python fav.
4. 2001 - Stanly Kubric, need I say more? Ok, I'll say this: 2 1/2 hours - 45 minutes of dialog. In a space flick.
5. The Dark Crystal - Simply stunning art direction by Brian Froud, and a movie without a single human on screen, ever.

1) Biker Canibal Vixens in Chains.
2) Behind the Green Door
3) Invasion of the saucer men
4) Shock Treatment
5) The Babysitter with obvious implants and the Arabian Stallion (part 9)

# of lines- that would be Ghostbusters then.
In the comedy category, absolutely. But I already had 10 in a list of five. Gotta leave a few for the next poster, right?

You completely overlooked "The Devil in Mrs. Jones"!

Everyone always raves about this movie. I can't stand it. I am a fan of the books. Because it deviates so far from the books, I can't bear it.

I'll grant you that it is technically stunning, but that's its only redeming quality.

I hear you. I actually saw the movie first, loved it, then read the books where my mind was blown. So yeah, there are definite things about the movie that rub you raw when you consider the books, but take it by itself and it's majestic (in that 1980s sort of way).

I want to add to this list. Man from Snowy River/Return to Snowy River (I think there were 2 of them)
and ET
I am sure there are more I could add, but I can't think of them. We watched Close Encounters of the third Kind every year as a family.

There is another movie-I can't remember the name-a guy is being chased by a semi driver through the whole movie-probably not one everyone needs to see tho.
I'll add more later if I think of them. Kubrick Movies are good.

"Duel", starring Dennis Weaver, directed by Stephen Spielberg for TV.
