It probably is. I haven't watched MTV since 1989.

The first episode got an A-(!) from the AVClub, but a community rating of just C. By the forth episode the review score had dropped to C+.

I really can't imagine a US version. What's The Inbetweeners without swearing, sex talk and that episode with thingy's testicle hanging out?

Jay doesn't seem to have the making up outrageous stories aspect (in that trailer made up of jokes from the original series.~)
