My computer clock keeps stopping

It's a sign of the apocalypse. Or the acockalysp. Depending on whether you're straight or gay.
 
The computer clock resets everytime you restart the computer and gets the time from the master clock on the motherboard. That clock has a battery. After about 3 or 4 years the battery can tend to run low and screw the time up. Just crack the side of your case open and plonk a new battery in there.
 
BUT BEWARE THE COMPUTER CASE ELVES!! If you let them out of your computer they will wreak havoc on the world and also rape your cat.
 
Yeah, it seems like it's the CMOS clock at fault, it got all screwed during one of my daily crashes. But the system clock goes weird after a few hours too.
 
It jumps back about an hour, every hour, I have observed.
 
My laptop decided to switch to some Eastern European language this afternoon.

Now I don't watch DVDs on it. It watches me.

I was out sick the day they covered "plonking" in class.

This should have been the clue that I've been missing for a week because my computer exploded. Got a new one though!

250GB hard drive

It was only £240. IS THAT GOOD? I was assured it was a good.
 
Its very good for the price, in fact its so good I may need to steal it.
 
And it came with an optical mouse which I've never had before and I love the way it glows red on the bottom because I can pretend I'm a Borg.
 
If you havent turned it off yet, you may find that red glow stays on when the pc is off.
