That's fantastic! It really does convey the idea that the horse is moving really fast. I think it helps that it's at an angle where it would fall over if it wasn't in motion. Is any of the smudging on purpose, though? I get a lot of that when I sketch stuff and it really aggravates me.

%$#@smudging is always such a pain - this time I left it in on purpose cos it made me think of them stirring up dust in a dry field...
Ordinairily, though, it looks so lame when you try and erase smudge marks and it leavea a bone- white spot on the paper, doesn't it?

I see what you mean now, it does look like dust swirling up. Yeah, erasing smudges sometimes just draws more attention to it. It's like you'd have to wrap your whole hand in tissue or something while drawing so you won't smudge anything. Or try to work from one side of the paper to the other, but that's just not practical.
