Looks they will recast some of the roles. Makes sense - EVERYBODY ON EARTH can do Burns and Ned Flanders at this point.

For the rest, close enough will be close enough.
 
Naaaah, it'll never sound quite right if they get someone else. Even the episodes where the guy who does Homer did his voice slightly differently are jarring, nevermind a completely different person.

I expect the studio will just relent and let him phone it in from the backstage of whatever production he actually wants to be doing.
 
He has already been phoning it in for some time.
 
The last time I watched a new episdoe I noticed that Moe and Chief Wiggum sound exactly the same now. So fire Hank Azaria is what I'm saying.
 
But then we wont have Frink and all the glaven.

Tonights episode about bullying was dreadful, its like they tried to make a drama rather than a comedy.
 
So he's signed on for the two upcoming seasons that the show is already renewed.

Show to end in 2017?
