i'm getting sucked in - even though the graphics are only slightly worse than the last RPG i played, fallout 3.

what i especially like is that i can bust off a game while i'm waiting for something else to happen, like the tape backup at a client's office:

anyone play? anyone have any strategies? i seem to die a lot.

If there was some kind of middle ground between Nethack and Dwarf Fortress, I might actually play it.

Is this the kind of thing a layman (me) could play or do you have to know how to "work" a "computer"?

i'm sure you could work it, wacky, it's all about knowing the right letter to hit in whatever situation. the commands can be a little obscure, but it's a fun throwaway adventure. because you know you're going to die somewhere in there, it's more about how far you get than beating it.
