It doesn't sound very exciting but I hope it is. MAYBE THE SHAT WILL BE NAKED.

Alan Shore defends Shirley Schmidt when she reneges on a large donation to a university, Denny Crane is arrested yet again Clarence Bell gets in trouble with new senior partner Carl Sack and Jerry Espenson aids new associate Katie Lloyd

I hope Denny doesn't shoot anyone.

I like the way the balcony scenes have nothing to do with the episodes now.

*whole episode about Shirley being arrested for selling sex toys on eBay*

Alan: Denny, do you think George Bush cares about black people?

Denny: No. And neither do I!

I hope it's just as good now that 2/3 of the cast is gone and all these new people are popping up...

DENNY CRANE! WHO ARE YOU?

I hope John Larosomethingorother isn't too cheesy.

William Shatner is just too fat & bloated for me to watch these days. If it were a Trek film i'd make the sacrifice, but Boston Legal??...no.

Don't worry, the new people will be gone in eight episodes.

Perhaps, but fat & bloated!??

They say that a good round of sex is the calorie burning equivalent of running 10 miles...maybe you should look him up. :)

For some reason that was about the best Boston Legal episode ever. Maybe I was just missing it and wanted to see it really bad.. don't know, but I enjoyed the whole thing.

THE SHAT SANG MY SONG!! I sing you are my sunshine all the time.

When Jerry headbutted Sack on the shoulder it was so unexpected that I cracked up. Jerry's character is still pretty silly but I think they're toning it down some, maybe...or at least making him more likable. Even the cross dressing stuff wasn't as silly as it was last season. Maybe they actually listen to fans sometimes.

Loved the new lawyer Katie Loyd. Don't know who the actress is but I was glad someone who wasn't clownish was added to the cast.

It was good, but it didn't thrill me quite as much as it did you.

I hope they are bringing in more "sane" characters to the firm, because right now the kooky ones outnumber the sane ones; for some reason I feel like that turns it into a different show. There were a few scenes where I thought they were using discarded scripts from Ally McBeal.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Ally McBeal. But it's better when the lines are spoken by Calista Flockhart and Peter MacNichol.

Ooooo, now that Calista's on an ABC show too, maybe they can write a BL episode where Ally McBeal is in court against DENNY CRANE!

The talent contest definitely had an Ally McBeal bar scene vibe.

I don't know how I feel about John Larroquette yet.. is he going to be funny, or hateful? I loved him in Night Court, but, like you, I feel like BL has enough clowns already. He seems like an unnecessary addition to the cast. I guess they felt they had to replace Odo. AND they revealed at the end that he's having a relationship with Shirley.. blah.

I really don't like it that Denny's been reduced to being a clown all the time. I used to love it when he'd get a case and win it even though he's a little nuts.

I did love the episode, but sometimes if I'm really excited and happy that a show is on I enjoy it more.

I hear ya. I believe it's called the September Shiver, when you see all your old friends again after being separated for the whole summer.

I MISS ODO! They need more Trek actors now, too. The connection is getting pretty weak. Although John Larroquette was in Trek III. BUT THAT'S NOT THE SAME...

Will Denny say "fine I'll kill you later" to him?

When he finds out that Larroquette and Candice Bergen's characters are sleeping together, he will.

Did they explain Paul, Brad and Denise being gone?

Brad works in the DA office. He's a prosecutor and he was in the episode. Didn't see Denise but Jerry did mention her.. but not why she's gone, just that she was one of the nice people.
